It is widely believed that the ActiveHome (CM-11) should never be left running with the serial cable attached to the controller and not to the computer. This can cause the controller to become “confused,&rquo; making it unresponsive or even cause it to send commands randomly. It is a good idea to always leave it connected or disconnect the cable at the ActiveHome end first.
